Dr. Jessica Mehta grew up in the ‘burbs, but (after many years) has declared her right to call the city of Chicago home.
Dr. Mehta completed her undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences at Marquette University followed by dental school there via admission thought a competitive pre-dental scholars program, one of only a few nationwide.
“ I decided to pursue dentistry in high-school. I took an after-school job as an assistant and was inspired immediately. I had always been drawn to things that involved creativity and design. “
Frequently attending continuing education classes and staying current on the newest dental literature, Dr. Mehta ensures she stays on the cutting-edge of what is happening in dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Mehta currently resides in Chicago with her Cavapoochon pup. She has a nostalgia for weekends on the Northside exploring the Devon neighborhood, Grant Park in the Jordan-era, and annual shopping trips to Marshall Fields.
She enjoys walking home on the Riverwalk, game-shows, word puzzles, and is serious on her food and wine. Check her out on Check Please! https://checkplease.wttw.com/content/jessica-mehta
